Default anyone know how to take off the bump stop cup?

Im putting a budget lift on my jeep. I have 2in spacers and I need to take the bump stop cup off. The instructions it came with say it can be removed by turning the cup. I tryed with a monkey wrench but it wont move. Any ideas?

Won't the spacers just slide over the cup? Mine were tight, but they went over.

They unscrew. Most of the time a pipe wrench works best. Some are held in by a 15mm bolt in the center.

I used channel locks and they screwed right off.

I don't think all of them are bolted on. The ones on my 97 are welded on IIRC.
