94 4.0 overheating
My jeep is overheating. I have a 4.0 with an auto trans I have replaced the thermostat, water pump, radiator, temp sensor, and hoses. When I start driving from cold it goes up to around 250 and when I rev it up in neutral it goes back down. It will go up aand down but eventually stay between 220 and 230. I don't drive it because of this. What else can I do?

Pop the top on your radiator. Fill it up and see if it leaks from the driver side of the block or passenger side of the block. I had the same problem and found out that 4 out of 5 of my freeze plugs AKA expansion plugs were rotted thru and had to be replaced. Problem was fixed after that.
the plugs aren't expensive just make sure you take the old ones and match it up to the new ones
If your mechanically inclined you can do this yourself and your gonna need a new intake/exhaust manifold gasket as well.

Have the cooling system pressure tested.
You've covered all the bases. I would suggest your next place to look is a leaking head gasket or cracked head.
Assuming you have all the air out of the system.

With engine OFF turn the mechanical fan by hand, start the engine, let it warm up to normal temp turn OFF the engine turn the fan by hand again it should be a lot tighter to turn this time if not replace it. Also take off the radiator cap start the engine let it run fill rad as needed. It sounds like a combonation of the mechanical fan and air in the cooling system,
