Default front door storage

Went to the JY today and found a little gem. Mid 90's Rangers and B2000's with extended cabs had a cargo net attached to the back of the cab. The U-bracket that holds the net fits perfectly along the bottom of the front door trim on 97-01 Cherokees (not sure of 96 and prior). This gives you what every XJ is missing - front door storage! I fastened the middle of the net up so it wouldn't sag below the door line.

I think a new cord would tighten it up but I'm not too concerned about it right now. I'll do it eventually though.

Most don't. I know the Laredo's from the early 90's did, but they're the only XJ's I've ever seen with 'em.

My 2000 has them, but it's a limited trim, so maybe that is the reason? I store all kinda crap in there....

was able to tighten the top cord pretty easily. It just pulls tighter and you lock it in behind the u-bracket. Looks much nicer now.
