Slight noises in Tranny and front right wheel.
Hey guys,
I got my 99 XJ about a month ago. I use it as my DD for this summer, but have plans of changing that right before I go back to school. I have noticed recently that whenever I pull out or am cruising at a constant speed, my tranny seems to whine (pulling out) and has this little slight rubbing/grinding noise (constant speed). Should I check the fluid to see if it is good, change it, I really don't know. I have never done tranny work before.
And now for my front wheel. When traveling at any speed with my windows down and a wall or fence next to me, I hear this rattling noise coming from my passenger side wheel. I checked the lugs to see if they were tight, they all are. I tried rotating the tire with my hands and it was a little tight, but moved, but not fast enough to get a rattle. It also stopped spinning really quickly. This seems to me like my brakes might need some adjusting?
If anyone could offer up some advice I'd greatly appreciate it!!

I'm no mechanic, but I'm thinking I need to change the tranny fluid and adjust or replace my brakes. Good ideas or no?
