I was given a mount very similar to this that goes in the same place. I am now looking at buying a 3 foot firefly but I was wondering if you or anyone that has this setup knows what kind of range this will give me? Will I get too much reflection from the side of the jeep? Will the 3 foot be ok or is a 4 foot needed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's just important to ground properly.
