transmission cooler

transmission cooler
The fitting on the top of the radiator that the transmission cooler line looks like it has snapped.(see pic) I want to put a separate aux cooler on and just bypass the radiator all together .the jeep is a 98 grand cherokee 4.0 and i live in south Florida so the warming effect the radiator cooler has on the tranny fluid isnt a concern because it doesn't really get that cold here.Where would the best place to locate it .

The B&M cooler I bought came with several fittings. One replaced that fitting you are talking about. It screwed into the radiator on one end, the other end was 3/8" barbed to put rubber transmission hose on. You might check B&M's website for it.
