Good thing you had some things in your favor to get you going. By the marks on it, it kinda looks like it’s been messed with before. And it is just me or is that orange wire been cut?
There is black electrical tape that makes it looks like it was cut. I'm going to add a TPS to my must-carry list of sensors along with making sure I have a 1/4 drive T20 torx. Shame on me for not having it on-hand! I know there are many lists floating around that mandate a minimum equipment list (MEL) of items. Forgive me for i have sinned...
Did an oil and filter change and also replaced the AX-15's mount. I'm trying Rotella 15W-40 this time around (well 4qts of that plus 2qt of leftover Rotella 10W-30). On a really hot day so far this year the oil pressure drops to the 8-10 psi range at a red light. I know that the rule-of-thumb is 1 psi per 100 rpm's so I'm good but I'm curious if this would make any sort of difference. It hangs at 40 psi when you rev up the motor a little bit and also when driving along.
