I dont remember Ruffstuff's price vs. Barnes. HD Offroad on NAXJA gets a good vendor discount through Barnes so I get most of my stuff through him.
You're giving me inspiration to chop mine and work on it so don't stop. Also, buy my trailer so I can buy a gooseneck.

price dif, is 9$, but i swear i didnt see them on Barnes site when i ordered mine. I used my naxja discount over at RS to, knocked off 25$... and i must not be informed on barnes deal cause i cant get anything out of them... I get all my heims and tube from barnes...
if only i could some how magically transport my jeep down there, wheel, then buy your trailer for the ride home we could probably make that work...but doesnt seem to realistic. lol
ive got some more ideas in the works, for the rear. just keep changing them...i will say this, i plan on having tail lights, blinkers, reverse lights...and the rear bumper is getting moved. defiantly wont be done this month like i hoped... but i still plan on being at winterfest.

I wish I could go to WF.
PM Hobag on NAXJA or email him through his site. HDOffroadengineering.com or something, he's a vendor for Barnes and gets the discount through them. Saved me a good bit of money on all my brackets and Heims last winter.

Haven't done much since last update. been in the woods alot.
I did get the front axle geared, and all put back together with all kinds of fresh parts.
This past week I decided I didnt like the standard shock hoops with generic weld on tabs... im sure they would have worked fine, they do for plenty of people...for some reason I was bothered by them.
so scraped them and started over. this is what I have so far.

they hold the weight of the jeep no problem as is, but i dont like the idea of them ending at the firewall. A good nose dive or front impact - enough to kink the unirails - would take alot of force.. but IF it were to somehow happen id hate for the tubes to come through into the cabin. the outter tubes are getting cut, slugged and ran to the A-pillars, the inner tubes are getting cut, slugged and will run upto the cowl spreader between the a pillers, also at the same spot two tubes will be added running from that cowl spreader up to the halo to form a /\.
ive contemplated leaving them at the fire wall (as a unibody tie in) and just adding tube and tying them into said areas, but that still leaves tubes headed right for driver/passenger in the event of a failure.
some pics that never made it here
added another 97 to my collection, Rust Free.
did a mild build on it. 4" - 31s.
some parts got dropped off for neglected/poop(****)boxontons
and yanked this back out. getting a tuss and all new brackets and full hydro
