NO, the pre dip spray isnt necessary at all. In fact i havent used it ever in all the things ive dipped. What i always do and suggest doing is cleaning the surfaces really well. Thats really all that you need to do prep wise. You dont need to scuff anything up it will stick just fine as long as the surface is clean. Ive found that if a store does carry dip they only will gave black and maybe white. But i think that will change soon because its really catching on. The dip nozzle works wonders. It is sooo much better than the nozzle that comes on the can. Just make sure that you shake the can really good, make sure the can is warm, and spray light coats. Light coats is the key to it coming out good. You want a nice thick coat on there but if you try and put to heavy of a coat then it will bubble up. After EVERY coat turn the can upside down and spray to clear the nozzle and then after that i even take a rag and wipe the nozzle clean. The nozzles tend to get clogged pretty easy.

Hey man, i didnt wanna clog up your build with a bunch of questions about plasti-dip, so i thought id just send ya a message Alright, so i went on the website www.dipyourcar.com to get the dip nozzle and i was also gonna order some blaze orange, since i cant find that in stores, and i saw pre dip spray and it says you need to use it before you spray. Is that really necessary? I dont wanna spend any unnecessary money. Thanks!
