Hey guys. I have a real problem. I can't get my 89 jeep cherokee 4.0 to pass smog. Unfortunately I live in Cali. I have replaced o2 sensor, cat converter and muffler. Guy at shop said it could be my egr valve. I unplugged the egr hoses one at a time and it still ran. I read it should sputter when a hose is disconnected. Would it need replaced? Also my nox levels shot up after replacing o2 sensor. All other levels came down. Need some advice.
